Peni, how is the house building going? Are you still estimating it will be ready by the end of September? Also, how is looking for a short-term rental going? Are you busy looking or is there nowhere to look at?

Thanks for asking Cathy. The house is coming along, but slowly, because of all the rain we've had. We need the rain badly, so I'm not complaining. But the short-term rental is proving hard! I have 2 possibilities lined up, which I will find out about in the next few days. They are both more than double what we are paying now, but at this stage I don't have much choice!

Peni, I'm glad in one sense that you're having rain, although I'm sorry that means your house is coming along slowly. When do you think it may be ready? I hope you get one of those short-term rentals - whichever one you'd like the most!

The house should be ready by the end of September, but then there is still the wall to go up before we can move in. I don't care what the rental is like, as long as it's okay for my dogs, lol.

I think I missed the information about the wall.

Peni, I hope things go well until you can move into the new house. I guess the wall is to keep your dogs in because I seem to remember you mentioning that before. I pray the wall goes in fast so you can move into the new house in good time. It should be lovely having your own place that you can alter as you desire!

That's right Cathy. Coll, I need to build a wall between dad's existing house and our new house, so that our dogs can't get to the tenants dog, and also for privacy.

Peni, you aren't going to build the wall yourself, are you? That's what it sounds like, LOL. I hope it all goes well.

Okay, Peni, I get it now.
I'm praying for a quick, but properly built wall.

Hahaha!! Too funny Cathy! No, I am definitely not going to build it myself!

Thank you Coll.

I got an email from the company that is building all the cupboards tonight, saying that they should have the 3D imaging of the kitchen tomorrow - can't wait!
