Well, we had a real bad hail storm Monday and my strawberries aren't looking happy. We have had alternating weather. One day is rain and the next two are hot. My grass was over a foot tall when we finally were able to mow. I'm really proud of myself, I mowed about 6 ft or two meters. That was a week ago and it is back up to almost a foot again. Oh well, we defiantly need the moisture since it was such a mild winter.

I like the idea of a vertical garden.

Colleen, I'm sorry your strawberries aren't looking happy. Well done for mowing some grass! It sure is growing fast. I'm glad you're getting the rain you need but it can be inconvenient at times.
