Howdy Pit. Welcome to Shackland.
Thank you Cathy for the list.
Thank you Cathy for the list.

Re: Members saying Hello
You're welcome, Colleen. I didn't think anyone was going to notice my list.
Re: Members saying Hello
Hi Pit, I'm glad you're doing well. I'm not too bad either, thanks.
Re: Members saying Hello
I have not finished the book but I've watched the movie numerous times. The presentation of subjects such as: free will, unconditional love, thinking in non-religious stereotypes, etc. are made in such a way that are more clear to anyone who has struggled with the concepts. Our humanity clips our wings too often and prevents us from flying. I'm still working through some of my own human limitations, but I am. Your book has been and is a tool in that process for me and others with whom I work.
Papa speaks to us all. Sometimes by our choices all the distractions and temptations of our life grow silent. We are knocked down by a life event or events. It is then that He works with us; it is then that His message comes through more clearly; it is then that He has our full attention. When Papa tells Mac that He has no magic wand to fix Mac 's hardened heart. I take from that message that Mac must arrive at a softened heart through time, understanding, and arriving at His ability to understand God's love. Mac must get there on His own through Mac's free will and not his obligation to accept God's message.
Your book is a must read even though I got there through the movie. God presents an opportunity through many different avenues; however, we must choose to listen.
