Coll, my dad's cat is still at the house, and she hates dogs, lol.

We have advertised her on the local "adopt a pet" facebook page, and one lady is interested. I am going to meet with her tomorrow.

The lady who responded came back to me the next day and said that her hubby had said no. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed, because I had a funny feeling about her.

Yesterday another lady contacted me, and I am meeting her at dad's house tomorrow morning so she can meet Smudge. She sounds wonderful, and also has an old cat, so I hope this one works!

And on another note....... I have a new kitty I only got him tonight, and the dogs haven't met him yet. Here is praying that it goes smoothly!

Honestly? I miss my dad more than I thought possible. And I feel guilty because I didn't miss my mum like this. I feel very alone, and lonely, and every, single, darned day something happens where I say to myself "I must tell dad that!", and then it hits me that I can't tell him anything.

How's that for honestly, lol.

Very good. I understand your feelings. I think for me since I was taking care of my mother for two years while she had cancer I had already mourned her and was more ready. My father went down hill in a couple months. I had other mixed feelings too.
