Welcome to the forum. The book and movie have had and continue to have quite an impact. Papa's fingerprints are all over both.
Blessings,
Papalovesyou
May we all come to know Papa as we are known... and see ourselves as He sees us!

Hi, just joined today. I just finished the book and will be watching the movie tonight. I must say, the book has both answered and created a lot of questions. Basically, just really confused.

Dear Mimi,
Welcome! Hope you come back here after watching the movie. It's great to hear that some questions have been answered. May I ask politely what remaining questions do you have and what are you confused about?
Perhaps forum members here can share our thoughts with you which may hopefully be of some help or guidance towards coming to your own satisfactory conclusions. My name is Tom.

Mimi,
I think it's good to have questions about God. That is how and why we learn about him. The important thing is to not learn academically but personally. That means having a relationship with him.
It is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me.

I have watched the movie and read the book. I too agree that it answered some questions that I had but left me confused in other areas. I was in a SAD PLACE for 21/2 yrs and was very angry with God. I quit going to church, wasn't taking my meds. and just stayed in the house most of the time. I felt a great weight lifting as I read this book. Thank you for sharing the book with me.
