Dad has been doing a lot better since my sis has been here, which proves his doctor's theory that a lot of his "medical" problems stem from loneliness. My sis and I have found people that volunteer to visit elderly people and just chat with them, and suggested that to him, but he wasn't interested.

I have had a bit of a break while my sis was here, so I'm doing well. I am finding the pups a bit of a handful though, now that they are older and sleeping less. I never thought I would say this, but I hope they get adopted soon, lol!

I'm glad your dad has been feeling better while your sis was visiting. It's a pity he's so stubborn and doesn't want a volunteer to visit him.

I'm glad you've been doing well. I pray the pups get adopted soon so that you can have more of a rest. You have quite a lot to cope with!

My sister says that that is the reason why I'm not finding a job - because dad and the pups need me, lol.

My sister's hubby is deteriorating fast, and can now no longer leave his bed. So sad.

Peni, I'm keeping you all in my prayers. Specially your sister, this had to be very hard on her 20th both her husband and father going downhill and so far apart.
Be sure and take care of yourself while you are caring for the rest of the world.

Love you lots.

I pray that you and your sister's Spirit remain strong and that Papa provide all your needs. Does your dad like to play cards or does he read? Lifting him and your sister's husband up in my prayer this morning too.

Thanks Cathy. To be honest, my sis is too busy to know how she is doing! She's trying to do her work, which is very high-pressure, and take care of Allan, which isn't working too well. She did interview a carer yesterday though, so hopefully that will take some of the weight off her.

Thanks Colleen! It is hard for her, I know. But she is a strong lady.

Thank you Cyndi. Dad doesn't play cards, and it takes him about 6 months to read one book, lol.
