Sorry, but having been deeply exposed to cults, I would steer clear of the JWs. And I don't say this lightly.

I am with you Mike. Unless you are very familiar of their religion from personal experience, I would avoid them like the plague.

Well, he's a friend of mine, so I can't avoid him, lol, but I have simply stopped having any religious conversations with him.

They say there is always an exception to the rule, and friendship makes for a really good exception. Good idea to stay off the topic of religion. :)

I attended a JW meeting just to see if they were sacrificing goats. It seemed pretty tame to me. They were nice.

Judy, my issue is around requirements to knock on doors, etc. Lifestyle evangelism is more my thing.

They stop by our house now and then. We welcome them in and love them. Sunny discusses the Bible with them. We don't try to argue them to our side.
