During the summer since we use an evaporator cooler, they are open most the time.

Do you keep your house really cool inn the summer and warm in the winter, or just enough to be comfortable?

I don't like the house too cool in summer but Sam does, so we compromise. We also compromise in winter because I like the house a lot warmer than Sam does but at least I can run the heater in my bedroom when I want.

Do you wear a lot of layers of clothes in winter or not?

It's the only way to stay warm when the temp is -10f or -23.3c. Pin days that it starts out below zero Fahrenheit and warms up to 55f, it helps to be able to shed layers. 😁

Do you keep a prayer list or not?

No, I used to have a prayer list but then it was just like a shopping list for prayers, so I prefer to pray in more creative ways.

Is your weather okay at the moment or not?

Barometric pressure is falling and wind is blowing hard, that's why I'm awake at three in the morning. Pain.

Do you have sinuses troubles or not?

Colleen, I'm sorry you were awake at 3am and in pain.

I actually have been having sinus pain today - I think I have a cold.

Have you had some hugs today or not? (I'm sending you some)

Thank you, I really needed them today. A very good friend of mine killed herself this morning. Dan has hugged me a lot today.

How do you handle sorrow? Do you cry and let it out, or do you bury it and ignore it?

Colleen, I'm so sorry about your friend! I'm sending you lots of hugs and I hope Dan is still hugging you a lot too.

I have different ways of handling sorrow at different times. Shock or being too overwhelmed can make me numb but other times I cry a lot and talk a lot about it. I'm having trouble dealing with my grief about Sally's terminal illness because it's so hard to process.

Do you get emotional about things right away or does it take time for you to start to process intense feelings?

It takes me a long time. I'm working on not pushing it away and ignoring it.

Do you get cranky when your sore and tired?

Well done, Colleen. You are being brave.

Yes I do tend to cranky but I try not to.

Do you keep learning new things every day or not?
