That is a question I ask myself many times! I don't have an answer though, lol.

I have heard that people are more involved with things like Facebook than forums these days.

Missed the forum or not? How much?

:o Geez...all of a sudden I could not find the forum on line anymore. I kept trying again and again and again. I even had the (stupid) thought that maybe I said something inappropriate and had been banned from the web site. so here i am back again and glad to be.
Tom

Yes I did MISS it and you guys.

It's good to see you again, Tom. I think we were all alarmed when the forum didn't work!

Are you busy or not?

By being busy are you referring to my home business? No - things are very slowed down, but that happens every now and then until I get new signs reposted at various intersections again...then the calls start back up. I also have three flea markets to exhibit in in September. That will yield some new customers.
I started to read "Eve" by Paul. It's way different than the Shack and I only read little bits at a time.
I also obtained "Crossroads" which will be next to read.

What do you think of our current President and do you think there will be an engagement between USA and North Korea? Getting a bit scary there but perhaps it is toning down (I hope)

I have mixed feelings about Trump but since I'm in Australia, I don't know that much about him. I hope there won't be an engagement between USA and North Korea, I doubt it.

Do you know much about politics or not?

I use to be very involved in politics. Personally knew several congressmen and senators also 5 presidents in my life time. One got upset with me because I didn't come to a Christmas party he was attending until I told him it was at the same time as my bible study Christmas party. He agreed that I chose the right party to go to. Now days I don't pay that much attention. I focus on my own little corner of this big green ball.

Do you think politics are going to improve the global problems or male them worse?

I don't think politics will improve the global problems, at least not mostly.

Do you like to do crossword or other puzzles?

Hello Cathy & Doggie & Arus
Glad we are back in touch

re: politics - I'll vote for a President but otherwise I'm non-political. What you hear and see on TV, News, Radio is ont thing but what REALLY does on behing closed doors is another.

re: crosswords & puzzles - I am not very good at crosswords. I like to play scrabble.

Will you be able to see the eclipse from your geographical location? It is being televised by NASA on Monday 8-21-17. We have been privy to alot of celestial occurences in our lifetime haven't we.

We can see a 90% eclipse. My 2nd cousin invited us up to their ranch to see the total eclipse outside Casper, WY but I'm not physically up to it. I remember a total eclipse in my childhood. It was mind boggling.

Do you like the person you are?
