Re: This or that?
I believe it's possible, at least for some people.
Are you more likely to read Christian books or secular ones?

Re: This or that?
If there were more well written Christian fiction books. I would choose Christian. Unfortunately many Christian writers are so busy putting in morals and scripture that they forget the story. I do spend a lot of time reading my bible and devotionals.
Do you think the devotionals written years ago are relative for today?

It is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me.
Re: This or that?
I think some of the devotionals written years ago are still relevant, so long as the style isn't too harsh (I've come across ones like that).
Do you find it easy to find pens that write well or do you have the problem I do of having ones that stop and start or go too pale?

Re: This or that?
I have a couple good pens in my purse, and some in my desk. I always make sure that there are good pens beside the phones. Dan complains about the phone downstairs but since I can't go down there, her is the only one that moves it.

May we all come to know Papa as we are known... and see ourselves as He sees us!

Re: This or that?
I do believe in penal substitution but I had to look it up on Google, since I hadn't heard that Jesus' sacrifice for our sins is called that.

Re: This or that?
I have studied the Bible and read several commentaries and other books regarding my faith, but mostly I depend on the Holy Spirit to direct me to understand w what I need to know when reading the bible.
I've also done some research in other religions. I've read The Book of Mormon (don't recommend it) and a lot of the Koran, also the history of Mohammed. It's interesting but what's important is you personal relationship with our triune God.
Do you find yourself pulling closer to God in times of trouble?
