Hill,
IS your God the Bible? Or it's author?

Papalovesyou

I have told the church for many years, before the 'book'...The Shack, was ever even thought about, that; "I do not worship the 'book' of God...I worship the God of the 'book'."

Does that answer help?

Who worships the book? It's just paper and ink.

Hello Judy. :)
Are you now talking about 'the bible'...or 'The Shack'? :o Personally, I don't worship either. But I do love both as my two most favorite books on earth. :!:

Your post didn't say you were specifically addressing me, but hey, this thread isn't moving anyway so let me just say that my answer to Papalovesyou was rather cryptic, just as I felt his question was to me also, IMO. I'm wasn't sure if I did something wrong to warrant it, and I honestly still don't know. :?:

But in response to your post's question as to whose God is the bible?' Dare I say "No ones." I say 'that' knowing that even the dictionary has a term which comes very close....and that term is BIBLIOLATRY.
One for Him,

You didn't do anything wrong. I was agreeing with you about how silly it would be to worship a book instead of Papa.
