Tom, this is not a theology thread, so I'll be brief. It's easy to FEEL that God is making a mistake at times but that doesn't mean I'm sure that He is.

I don't believe that animals have souls.

Are you allergic to any animals or not?

I'm allergic to chihuahuas. Not other dogs.
Are you a cat person or a dog person.

I've had more to do with cats and I think they're cuter but I'm allergic to them.

Do you have a pet or not?

We have 11 cats (down from 23) - yeah i know-crazy! Plus two pit bulls and previously the kids had ferrets, turtles, geckos, mice, wild bunnies. My dogs and cats show me much LOVE and to do that they do indeed have souls. Such LOVE does not come from genetic instinct...it comes from spiritual essence.
(in my opinion)

re: cat or dog person - I am both!

What is or are your favorite (if any) TV shows?

I think Little House on the Prairie is my favourite TV series of all time.

Do you prefer comedy or drama TV series? (This or that question)

I rarely watch tv (our tv hasn't been on for over three months.) But when I do watch I prefer drama because all the comedies seem to have so much sex and ridicule. Call me a prude. :)

I'm school did you prefer science or literature?

School was my safe place. I never really felt I was studying. I think I was more of the sponge type student, I just absorbed the knowledge.

Do you prefer a small babbling brook or a big rolling river?

I'm not sure, maybe a small babbling brook.

Do you prefer green hills or a forest of trees?

I'm gonna answer all the recent posed questions:
1. Do you prefer comedy or drama TV series?
I prefer drama but more importantly shows that touch my heart (soul-beingness) like:
Highway To Heaven, Touched By an Angel.

2. In school did you prefer science or literature?
Science definitely - Cool interesting stuff. I love looking at the night sky and the wondrous of it all.

3.Did you like studying at school or not?

I was NOT a very good student - average to below average grades. Graduated High School by the skin of my teeth or perhaps a sympathetic staff member LOL.
It wasn't until I learned the most valuable studying tool from L. Ron Hubbard which is: to not go by (complacently pass over) words, terms or symbols I do not know or understand correctly while reading a book or studying some subject) so since then I ALWAYS use a dictionary to look them up. Did you know that yawning is one symptom of not understanding what you're reading?
Examples: I went into the refrigerator looking for viands...or the children got scared when the crepuscle arrived. If you know what "viands" are or "crepuscle" that's great but if you don't then you are NOT understanding what I'm saying. People lose interest when they don't understand.
Viands means" an item of food" and crepuscle means "darkness" NOW you'll understand what I said!
There were quite a few words I had to look up when reading The Shack...resulting in much better comprehension of what the author intended.

4.Do you prefer a small babbling brook or a big rolling river?
Babbling brooks are sweet and peaceful and joyful to watch and listen to...almost like music.

5. Do you prefer green hills or a forest of trees?
Definitely a forest because I know within it are an array of beautiful animals and a mysteriousness of the unknown of what lies beyond the trees within my line of sight.

My question is: What was one of your most favorite childhood experiences (memories)?
