Allegory of life Chapter 4

In chapter 4 we experience a crisis that God doesn't handle way we think is best. At the beginning of crises the people that have been with us in our joyous times are still there but after the immediate crises they turn back to their own lives, they feel bad we are going through it but thankful they aren't.
Now we get a new group of people. These are the ones that come up along side us to help, but they point out all the really tough points. They give us the promise that they are here for us. When there is nothing left that they can do, they too fade away.

We are left totally alone. We question the why and often blame ourselves. If only we had more faith. If only we were better Christians. It is here in our brokenness that God reaches out to us, inviting us to really experience His healing love.

I so like what you wrote here. In fact, if you really think about it, we are not totally alone. Papa and the Trinity are always with us. God promises that HE will never leave us or forsake us...Hebrews 13:5.Sometimes, God has to remove all the riffraff of our lives, so that in our aloneness we can "be still and know that He is God."...Psalm 46:10
There is something about brokenness that brings us to the point of being so low that the only place to look is up. Unfortunately, at least for me, sometimes that is easier said than done.
