Deep and wide faith

I was thinking about faith and whether it is better deep or wide. I realise that it needs to be both. When you think about the root system of a tree. The roots go out wide to pull in nutrients and then deep so it can find water during a dry spell. When storms come this root system holds the tree firm so it doesn't get torn up from the soil of our heart.

I have come to understand that God wants to increase my faith. Especially the hardest of circumstances is when He shows me He wants good things for me. He takes the worst of situations and turns tears into joy. I have never had any relationship with anyone who could do that
