Hi, I don't know where to post this.
Is the author involved with the movie?
If so would he tell us what it is like to work with the people that are in the movie and those producing it, etc?

Yes, I need to find the link. He has a Facebook live link to a chat he had with the producer where he tells about his day on the set.

Having not re-read the book, is the male Papa in the book a first nations individual as it was in the movie? Any thoughts as to why Papa is depicted as an aboriginal male? This is not posted as a racially based question, just a curious one.

As I haven't seen the movie, I shouldn't really respond, BUT.... aboriginal? From what I have read, He's Israeli?

While the actor in the film is Graham Green who is Native American, the book makes no distiction as to whether Papa, the male Papa, is of any particular nationality.
