Members saying Hello
Re: Greetings from South Africa
Not only can I see it, I can post again.
It is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me.
Re: Greetings from South Africa
I see that! Great news!
In the cracks of an earthquake, new flowers grow.
Re: Greetings from South Africa
Hello, everyone. I'm glad that we can discuss a fabulous book like Shack here. I was quite moved by it. In all candor it made me wonder how it would have been if he had been held hostage by his father for 3 years, beginning at age 12 (twelve) at a series of house-building job sites & then at age 16 he made casual mention of money owed to him which infuriates father so bad that next day he assaults 16 year old son from behind with heavy blunt object which proves to be temporarily fatal, sending him to be in the presence of the Lord, who decides that the method of arrival at the Place is totally unacceptable & so He sends him back with the promise that his life will, at regular intervals, be enriched & enhanced by Provisions sent personally by Him. I wonder......

May we all come to know Papa as we are known... and see ourselves as He sees us!

Howdy Cyndi,
I have my ticket for Saturday at 1:15.
It is exciting to see many people returning.
