Amelia's Facebook is interesting but the last post I can see is about getting her hair cut for charity and nothing about her neck. I guess that's because I'm not listed as a "friend".

At first glance it looks like a necklace. Praying for a quick recovery.

Hello,
I have some hospital wifi I can use on my phone but I get tired and don't want battery to run out so won't type an essay often.

I'm still in hospital. I think I have 40 staples around my neck. I can recover at home when I stop bleeding - there's a tube in my neck collecting blood. So far I'm still bleeding so I'm still here.

It's okay being here because I want to make sure all the things are okay. I think if I'd gone home on day one I'd have been worried about keeping the staples clean and making sure there was still the right number and not moving them. At least now I'm a little more used to them existing.

It was supposed to be a five hour operation and One or two days in. But the operation ended up lasting longer (8hrs~?) and I'm now in for longer. But I'm improving.

There is a bit of a side effect, my left shoulders numbed and won't raise the same amount as right. Might pass. Might not pass. I will see and keep stretching it to try help.

Thanks for posting, Amelia. I really do want to know how you are. It's great that you have wifi in the hospital. I can see why you feel better being in hospital until you know things are okay. I'm glad you're improving. I pray you regain full movement in your shoulder.
Sending you hugs and love, Cathy

I pray for quick, uncomplicated and complete healing for you Emelia. I'm glad you remain around helping hands in the hospital...sometimes that's just better and safer.

Thanks for keeping us posted.
