Praising God for the good things happening in your life.
I wonder if Papa praises us?
May we all come to know Papa as we are known... and see ourselves as He sees us!

I'm good, thanks Cathy. I had to say goodbye to my oldest friend this morning, which wasn't nice, but that's the way life goes. She is moving back to the UK, so I guess I will only see her again when I go to my sister for Christmas next year.

Peni, I'm glad you're good. I'm sorry you had to say goodbye to your oldest friend who is moving back to the UK, that's very sad. It's great that you will see her again next year and that you will be visiting your sister!

It's a pity I couldn't go this year, as this will be her first Christmas without her hubby, and I know that is going to be hard.

Peni, that's true. How is your sister doing? It's certainly been hard for both of you with her husband dying and then both your dad dying. Does she have other people to support her?

Her hubby's grown children have been really good, visiting her a lot, and her step-son does a lot of the odd-jobs around the house for her, which is really sweet. She also has her best friend, who has been great. She's doing okay.
