Thanks Mike!

Coll, the design guy came to see me tonight, with the plans for the layout - well, the initial plans! We changed things around somewhat and now he will redo the plans and we will talk again. Very exciting!

Cathy, the water situation is still dire, but the locals have done a simply wonderful job of using less and less water. Our rains should start within the next month, which will help a lot!

Peni, I'm glad the house plans are exciting. I'm glad the locals aren't using much water and the rains should start within the next month. I pray they do start soon.

Thanks Mike for your hard work.

Peni I'm excited about you getting your own house that you don't have to worry about getting sold out from under you.

Thanks Cathy - we are having some lovely rain tonight! Not hard, but any rain is welcome, lol.

Exactly Coll! Now I just have to worry about how I'm going to pay for it, LOL!

Peni, I'm glad you were having some lovely rain. I pray that's the start of lots more to come.
I pray that you come up with the money to pay for the new house. I guess it will be difficult until you can get some people into your Dad's old house.

I have tenants in dad's house Cathy, but until it is officially mine I can't charge them a full rental, which is annoying, lol. The estate agent said I could get 16 000 rental, while they are paying just 6 000!

Is that $AUS? Going rent for a month for a townhouse in my parts in $US ~2000-2500.

Peni, how long have you had tenants in your Dad's house? I didn't realise that. I'm glad they're paying something but I know it must be frustrating that they're not paying the full amount yet. I guess that must be South African Rand. Here rental prices vary a lot depending on the exact location, the condition and how many bedrooms it has.

Peni, I thought your father had signed it over to you earlier.

Mike, I don't know what SAUS is, sorry! The price I mentioned is SA Rands. We pay R7 000.00 for our tiny, 2 bedroomed place. Rents here are very, very high!

Cathy, it's not too bad, because they are fixing the house up beautifully! They moved in the month after dad died, and have removed all the dated wallpaper, painted, and are in the process of remodeling the kitchen, which desperately needed it! I don't mean to be nasty at all, but, being a gay couple, their taste is impeccable!

Coll, yes, the house is mine, but only when the estate has been finalized.
