I just finished reading this book 5 minutes ago.  No one suggested this book to me it just looked interesting.  Halfway through the book I was outside on my patio reading I put the book down and ran inside to tell my fiance that I did not pick this book out, it picked me!!!!  In so many ways I can relate to Mack.  For so many years I have held things in and couldn't trust.  Made myself very unemotional to Others. 

Mack thank you for this book some point in the book I felt spiritually lifted and lighter of burdens in my heart.  I prayed several time through this book and at one point I almost put it down.  Glad I did not.

Welcome to the forum tuffnkc,so glad you didn't put it down. That book has found it's way,I believe,into all of our lives that have read it just when it was most needed. So glad it seemed to open you up emotionally!! I've found I can trust in the forum and be just who I am and have been accepted with unconditional Love like I've never seen!! I just re-read the book. Going through a Great Sadness of my own, and its still good after 5 years.  Its as if the book were calling to me...after preaching about the Trinity, I knew I just HAD to pick it up again!
