Wow, Words fail me in writing a suitable review of this book ! ! !

We're on the same page, Dion.  I didn't think you were accusing anyone of being a hypocrite.  I think of these people I know as the 99 sheep who didn't stray.  They belong to the shepherd, but they will never have the intimate relationship with him that the rescued do.

I agree with you Dion and please, call me Peni  :)

Maybe one day I will find a decent preacher in my little town.

dion:
Amazing insight Judy, I fully agree with that, it's all about the kind of relationship we have with God or 'Papa' whichever you prefer to call him.  And just by the way : "That used to be my little girls favourite bedtime story when she was little about how the shepherd left the 99 sheep to go and look for 1 little lost sheep.  She's not so little anymore, now 7 but still Loves the Lord and that story.  ;D

Peni, I will be praying for you and that the Lord will infect your little community not just with a Preacher that will preach truth, but that he may also send you like-minded people that you may once again enjoy true fellowship the way it is done in the Bible.  The reason I have stuck with it despite judgement and criticism is that I believe Fellowship (church) is important and what better way to change something than from the inside out.  Maybe the Lord will even use you to bring about that change in your community.                           I have noticed even in my own life that sometimes when we feel an enormous burden about something that is the Lord's way of directing us to do something about it, so you keep praying for guidance and direction and I pray the Lord will reveal to you his will for you and your community.

arus:
Thank you Dion  :)  The only fellowship I have is on this forum, which is great, but I know how important it is for spiritual growth to actually be amongst believers.

Where do you hail from?

Judy:
I haven't found a church here either.  I've been in some really great ones in Atlanta and then in Texas.  I've been here for 5 years now and visited a dozen or so.
