I just finished reading The Shack and I absolutely loved it! I have fell on extremely hard times this year and although I have somewhat healed I still feel empty and useless. Something is missing and I know what it is that will make me more fullfilled. I am going to start going to church again and I want to learn to forgive and love as I would want to be loved. These two are very hard for me and I feel that these two hurdles would be a good start to better my relationship with God.

I hope to learn more by reading from all of you and I am excited to participate and interact with all of you.

Good morning Marty.(WELCOME)
You have been led here by Papa and a few millon more of us have also. You mention you want to find forgiveness and love and God.Marty you already have it. God is with you constanley and just you wanting forgiveness you have been forgiven. The love of God is around you--beside you and all you do is open self and allow the spirit to flow through you.
You do not need any special ritual or person to open the door to God. It is already open. Feel the loveing child within you. We love you and WELCOME  Your friend  (Lakoda)

Hello martys, welcome to shackland!!  I'm sorry you have been through hard times, and I really hope that things will start looking up soon.  If it's any consolation, I too had a problem with learning to forgive.  This book and this site taught me how.  I hope we can help you like I was helped.
