Let me start by stating that before I finished this book, I like Mack, had some resentment toward God!

I have just finished reading "The Shack" and this book has changed my life. I for the last two years have walked around with resentment in my heart for god, after we lost my grandmother who i've lived with my whole life. She was such a good woman, and never met a stranger; she would help you out no matter what you needed. But she got sick, and as the pain grew worse we were told there was nothing the doctors could do for her. We toward the end couldn't even make her comfortable, and then she was just gone...not there anymore, and i was mad at God b/c i didn't get to say goodbye, and the way that she suffered.

My aunt gave me this book to read, when she found out the struggles that I was facing with God. And I thank her, like I said I was holding a lot of resentment toward god just like Mack. And after reading this book, i'm ready to set our differences aside and work on the relationship that we once had. I can only hope that it isn't too late for this book to touch the lives of others, the ones who have to forgive those who have truly hurt them. You don't have to like them, but you need to forgive them. Not for them, but for you!!!!

Welcome angel. It is a blessing to have you here and share. I have been here over a year now and found a new family in Christ here. Praying for you.
