I really don't suppose anyone will actually read this post--especially the author, but I'm posting anyway.
I am a twenty-two-year-old college student who has just written a childhood memoir about a painfully abusive past as I lived learning to live with my undiagnosed cerebral plasy.Through all the pain, I discovered my relationship with God (which, in some ways, is not that much different than what is portrayed inThe Shack).

And now God has told me to share my story with others. I have and am now waiting for the book to go to print. It was just nice to read a book, even though it's fiction, that displays the conversations and answers I have received from God. Thank you. I hope my short little memoir will touch as many  people as The Shack has. God bless you!

Welcome Melody. You have found a place where so many share your story. I would love to know when yours is out. I hope you stay here and make friends, it is a wonderful place to go when you need someone to talk to. Unlike other forums this is really more like a huge family all over the world.
Hugs and love

Thank you, Barbara. I will stick around, I think--and I will let you know when my book is released. I don't know when that will be. Actually, it's sort of an "accident" that the book is going to be published anyway. I wasn't particuarly trying to become published. It just happend to be picked up by a publisher. I wrote my own story for a creative writing course, and well, now it's in the process of being shared with even more people other than my college professor and classmates.

@ Arus: Aww, thanks. I'm not actually famous; my little book hasn't even gone to print yet. But thank you.  Smiley
