I have not been able to put this book down this weekend. How different my life would have been had this message been given to my family and I 42 years ago when my four year old brother was killed by a drunk driver. Nevertheless, my life will be different now and that is what really matters. I have not gotten down on my knees and sobbed like this for a very long time. It has been a long time coming. Thank you for this very well written message that has allowed me to finally start moving on from a very long personal journey of pain and anger.

     Welcome Leahanne.  I too am sorry for your family's loss.  I hope you find some peace here.  And as Papa would have it in His perfect way, today, July 6, as I read your post, I'm quietly observing 31 years, to the day, without a drink, praise God.

     Thank you Papa.  If it be your will, please bestow blessings of peace on Leahanne and her family around this horrible, horrible tragedy.  If it be your will Papa, please ease her pain. As you know she has suffered a long time.

     Thank you Papa for every blessed moment of my sobriety and for healing me before I caused any family such unbearable pain.
